242. Minutes of the Last Meeting
Cllr. Briggs proposed that the Minutes of the Planning and Highways Meeting held on the 15th November 2017 be signed as a true and accurate record. Cllr. Haynes seconded the proposal which was carried. (Vote: 5 For, 0 Against, 1 Abstentions).
243.Matters Arising
Item 237 BCllr. Punter requested clarificationon Parking Restrictions (Chapel Street, Holsworthy)The TC explained the 2A & 2B options in relation to the Parking Restrictions.It had been agreed that the preferred option was 2B. DCC Highways had agreed the current yellow lines,the Town Councilhad suggested double, but this was declined. The Council had explained to DCC that the proposal would only push the issue of parked cars further down. The TC and Cllr. Hutchings confirmed that the public have been informed to report any concerns to DCC Highways.

The TC confirmed that a Company had now been appointed to carry out a Tree Survey for both Stanhope Park and Badock Gardens and would as part of this worktag the trees and plot them.

Observation:No objections to this application. However, Holsworthy Town Council would like clarification on the opening/closing times of the Petrol filling station and shop as this information is not recorded anywhere on the documents provided. If the proposal is for the shop to be open for 24 hours, the Council seek clarification

on any environmental impact to the neighbouring housing in the immediate area and surrounding, as well as the licencing implications if alcohol is to be sold.

246.To discuss any Highway Matters
Cllr. Hutchings confirmed that DCC Highways are aware of the drainage issues in Glebelands Glebe Meadows and Sanctuary Rd. County Cllr. B. Parsons is also aware and has been in communication with DCC Highways to ascertain the best outcome for all residents, as the area is split into three areas of ownership: private, Westward Housing & DCC.
The TC confirmed that sewage/drain issues have also been reported to DCC Highways and they are aware of the 2 main areas which are outside the butchers in the Square and Peter Peter Wright Fore Street.
