Arizona Age Group Dual Meet Championships

*14 & Under NCAP Swimmers*

January 12 to 15, 2018

Nation’s Capital Swim Club has once again been invited to compete in the Phoenix Swim Club’s Arizona Age Group Dual Meet Championships. This competition consists of multiple USA-S clubs swimming three dual meets each. We will compete with clubs from California and Arizona. Additionally, on Monday, January 15, 2018, we will swim a timed final championship meet involving all participating teams.

We will leave from BWI Airport on Friday, January 12, 2018 in the morning and return Monday, January 15, 2018in the evening.

The cost of the trip is $725. This fee includes: air and ground transportation, meet entry fees, coaching fees, trip t-shirt, and a cap for each swimmer and their host family. All swimmers will be housed with swimming families from the Phoenix Swim Club.

The NCAP coaching staff will select a team limited to 48 swimmers from all eligible applicants. If you are interested in participating in this exciting team trip, please fill out the attached application and return it to your coach witha deposit check in the amount of $400 payable to Nation’s Capital Swim Club. The medical and code of conduct as well as the balance of $325 will be processed via Team Unify accounts after acceptance of the trip. The deposit will not be cashed until final team is selected.

Applications are due to your coach no later than Tuesday, November 28, 2017. If you are selected you will be notified the week after the conclusion of the Nation’s Capital Invitational, no later than Thursday, December 14, 2017, at which time the balance of your fees will be due. Any swimmers not selected will have their deposit checks returned to them. You will receive a more detailed itinerary upon selection to the team.

Location: Phoenix Country Day School AquaCenter, Paradise Valley, AZ

Course:Outdoors, 2 separate 8 Lane, 25 yard heated pools.

Eligibility:Limited to 14&Under NCAP swimmers (10&Under, 11-12, 13-14)

Rules: 1) Each team is limited to 48 swimmers.

*This competition will consist of three dual meets and a championship final.

2)All events are timed finals.

3)Swimmers are limited to two individual events and one relay per dual meet.

4)Swimmers are limited to 6 individual events during the dual meets and 2 events in the championship meet.

5)Swimmers may not repeat an event.

6)Scoring is 5-3-1 for individual events and 7-0 for relays.
