The Association of Civil Engineering Departments will be holding its 2008 Annual Conference at the Norcroft Centre located on the University campus with accommodation at the Midland Hotel.

Conference Aims
The Association of Civil Engineering Departments exists to promote excellence in the teaching of Civil Engineering students and to provide a forum for the debate about important issues. The 2008 Annual Conference will allow delegates to discuss matters of current interest presented by speakers from a range of organisations in education and industry.
Venue
The 2008 conference is being hosted by the School of Engineering, Design and Technology at the University of Bradford and the venue is the Norcroft Centre building, located in the university campus. The Norcroft Centre is an ideal setting for the conference with its purpose built facilities for high profile international, national and local events.

Accommodation for the conference is at the Midland Hotel, 15 minutes walk from the Norcroft Centre, with a special rate of £71.00 per night for an en-suite room and full English breakfast.

All delegates are invited to the Conference Dinner, which is being held at the National Media Museum (see www.nationalmediamuseum.org.uk) a short walk from the Norcroft Centre.
