Happy 70th Birthday Mission Road! Let’s celebrate! Over the past 38 years, Mission Road Ministries’ Shindig has grown from an intimate gathering of 70 friends to become known as one of San Antonio’s most acclaimed charity events attracting more than700 attendees for the last 38years. Guests enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones in a relaxed atmosphere with great food, auctions, live music and dancing.
This year the cowboy tradition continues…no black tie…boots and jeans required. Apart from the fun and festivitiesthat makes this event so unique, there is a serious side to Shindig—raising money for Mission Road Ministries. On Friday, December 1, 2017 more than 700 friends will dust off their boots, put on their jeansand helpto raise the necessary funds to lend a hand to the more than800 kiddos and adultswho rely on Mission Road each day in their journey to independence, productivity and inclusion in the community.
