RE: PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/STATE INSPECTION – July
The County vehicles listed below are due for semi-annual preventive maintenance checks, which may also include a State inspection, during the month of July 2015.
The Preventive Maintenance (PM) check constitutes more than just routine service. A description of what each PM entails is attached. You can also find a description of the preventive maintenance (PM) program located on My Desktop, Offices & Agencies, Fleet, PM Check Lists. Every vehicle is thoroughly examined and any mechanical problems which are discovered are repaired before a vehicle is released. Consequently, the downtime for PM services may vary from one vehicle to the next depending on what problems are found, acquisition of specialized parts, or work backlogs.
Please call Fleet’s Shop at 792-5930 to make an appointment for your vehicle. All appointments should be made no later than the 5th working day of the month. Please drop off your vehicles by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of their scheduled appointments.
Thank you for your cooperation.
