TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

If several bands make it into the showcase they will be required to share a drum kit. Microphones and monitors (wedges) will be provided. Dancers/Singers must provide performance music/musical accompaniment(no vocals) via MP3 by email or on a CD. All performers must be available for a sound check Thursday, November 30, 2017.

Acts are required to provide any additional technical requirements at their own cost. Please list what equipment you are using:

Video tapes and audition CD’s become property of the Town of Ajax and will not be returned.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1.This is a showcase for youth. 50% of the members of a particular act must be between the ages of 13 & 19 at time of performance.

  1. This is an Ajax based showcase. 50% of the members of a particular act must be current Ajax residents.
  2. All entrants must be of amateur status.
  3. Performances may not exceed 5 minutes in length.
  4. Acts using machetes, knives etc. may not enter. Fire and/or pyrotechnics are not permitted.
  5. All performances and lyrics must be in good taste. Profanity or offensive material will not be permitted.
