How do I start?
If you are new to this business please start with classes. Acting is a craft like any other art form and must be learned and practiced. There are many good instructors and schools where you can study. Do some research online and get some recommendations from friends you know.

Finding an Agent
Finding the right agent is a process, especially if you have some experience and a decent resume. Everyone has different personalities and methods of operation. You need to find a good fit for YOU. Use your own judgment and trust your gut. Submit to several and interview with them. If you are new without much experience, you may need to gain some more experience on your own before an agent will be willing to talk with you. Stay in class, do a play, audition for film students, get some experience to beef up your resume and then finding an agent will be an easier process for you.

Visit the agency website and most of them will have submission instructions for new actors.
You will need a professional headshot and resume to submit. Again, if you are new to acting, start with classes before you invest in headshots to make sure this is what you really want to do. And then go for it! J
