S.S. Akeldof 643 tons was hit by a mine on 9th March 1940.
S.S. Ambrose Flemingof 1555 tons was hit by a torpedo from an E-boat on 28th April 1941
S.S. Arandora Starof 15501 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 2nd July 1940.
S.S. Astre II(?Astra II) of 2393 tons was hit by torpedo from a submarine on 29th August 1940
M.V. Athelcresta tanker of 6825 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine at 58°24’N 11°on 25th August 1940
S.S. Balmoralwoodof 5834 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 14th June 1940
S.S. Barbara Marieof 4223 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 12th June 1940
S.S. Beneficentof 2944 tons was mined off Southend 17th December 1940)
S.S. Blackhillof 2492 tons was hit by a mine near Longsand Head on 18th November 1939
S.S. Blairmoreof 4141 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 24th August 1940.
M.V. British Libertytanker of 8485 tons was lost possibly by hitting a British or Allied mine on 6th January 1940.
S.S. Broadhurstof 1013 tons was hit by torpedo from an E-boat off Shoreham on 26th July 1940.
S.S. Chelsea of 4804 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 30th August 1940.
S.S. Corondawas a tanker of 7503 tons which was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 15th September 1940.
S.S. Corseaof 2864 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft at Barrow Deep on 11th November 1940
S.S. Creofielda steamship tanker of 838 tons was lost in the North Sea through unknown causes on 1st February 1940.
S.S. Dalblairof 4608 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 28th August 1940.
S.S. Dalveen was hit by a bomb from an aircraft at on 28th September 1940
H.M.S. DaringDestroyer of 1375 tons was sunk by torpedo from a U-boat off Duncansby Head on 18th February 1939
H.M.S. Deptford(?S.S. Deptford) was hit by torpedo from a submarine on 13th December 1939.
S.S. Don Arturo of 3680 tons was lost in the Atlantic. It was reported to have been hit by torpedo from a submarine with no warning, possibly on 25th June 1917.
S.S. Effra of 1446 tons was hit by a torpedo from an E-boat on 18th April 1941
S.S. Empire Airman of 6586 tons was torpedoed from a surface craft on 21st September 1940
S.S. Empire Abilityof 7603 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 27th June 1941.
S.S. Empire Adventureof 5145 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine off Islay on 20th September 1940
S.S. Empire Dewof 7005 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 12th June 1941
S.S. Empire Merlinof 5763 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 25th August 1940.
S.S. Empire Stormof 7290 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 29th May 1941.
S.S. Gasfireof 2972 tons was hit by a torpedo from an E-boat on 17th October 1940
S.S. Glendelough(Glendalough) of 868 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 9th August 1941.
S.S. Gothica tanker of 2444 tons was hit by a mine off Spurn Point on 12th September 1940 or was hit by a bomb from an aircraft off Flamborough Head on 1st August 1940.
S.S. Granta of 2719 tons was mined on 12th January 1940
S.S. Gretafielda tanker of 10191 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarineat 14th February 1940.
S.S. Harpagus of 5713 tons was sunk by torpedo from a surface craft on 20th May 1941
S.S. Harpalycewas hit by torpedo from a submarine on 25th August 1940
S.S. Hartlepoolof 5500 tons was hit by torpedo from an E-boat off Portland on 5th July 1940.
S.S. Henry Woodallof 625 tons was hit by a mine off Withernsea on 10th May 1940
S.S. Joseph Swanwas hit by a torpedo from an e-boat on 4th September 1940
S.S. Kapristan (Kafiristan) of 5193 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 17th September 1939.
S.S. King Alfred of 5272 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 4th August 1940.
S.S. Kirnwoodof 3829 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 11th August 1940
S.S. Lancastriaof 16243 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft at St.Nazaireon 17th June 1940
S.S. Latymerof 2218 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 2nd October 1940.
S.S. Menin Ridgeof 4413 tons was hit by torpedo from a submarine on 24th October 1939
S.S. Mount Park (Mountpark) of 4648 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 26th April 1941.
S.S. Oakcrestof 5407 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 22nd November 1940
S.S. Pearlmoorof 4581 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 19th July 1940
S.S. Pinewoodof 2466 tons was hit by a mine off Southend on 3rd January 1941.
H.M.S. RawalpindiArmed Merchant Cruise of 16697 tons sunk by the Scharnhorst off Iceland 23rd November 1939
M. V. San Calistotanker of 8010 tons was hit by a mine on 2nd December 1939
S.S. Sedgepool of 5556 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 19th October 1940.
S.S. Severn Leighof 5242 tons was hit by a torpedo from a submarine on 23rd August 1940
S.S. Sheafmead (Sheaf Mead)was hit by torpedo from a submarine on 27th May 1940
M.V. Shelbrit 1tanker of 1025 tons was hit by a mine on 19th September 1940
S.S. Stanwoldof 1020 tons was lost at sea though causes unknown off Selsey on 27th February 1941
S.S. Terlingsof 2318 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft off the Isle of Wight 21st July 1940
S.S. Ullapoolof 4891 tons was hit by a mine off Mersey 13th March 1941
S.S. Upminsterof 1013 tons was hit by a bomb from an aircraft aon 10th January 1940
H.M.S. Warspite was the 8th of that name. Launched in 1913. She ran aground on the 23rd of April 1947 and was finally scrapped in the 1950's
S.S. Westpool of 5724 tons was hit by torpedo from a submarine on 3rd April 1941
S.S. Whitemantlewas hit by a mine east of Withernsea Light on 22nd October 1939
