Combi Steamer Oven

The Board of Education of Boyle County, Kentucky (herein after called the Board or the Board of Education) will receive sealed bids for the items and/or services listed herein. You are invited to submit a sealed bid, subject to the terms and conditions of this request. Please read the instructions and specifications carefully. Failure to comply with these instructions may disqualify your proposal.

Bids must be mailed or delivered to Sandy Jupin, Secretary to the Superintendent, Boyle County Board of Education. Please mail bids to 352 North Danville Bypass, Danville, KY 40422, in an envelope marked "COMBI OVEN - IFB" in the lower left hand corner. The name and address of the vendor shall appear in the upper left-hand corner. The proposal may be delivered to 1651 Perryville Rd. Danville, KY 40422. Please use rear entrance to deliver the bid.

Copies of this Invitation for Bid may be obtained at the Boyle County Board of Education, at the above address, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, May 26 – June 4, 2015 or at , (Boyle County Schools-Department-Finance) prior to the time and date specified for opening.

TIME OF OPENING:

Bids will be opened at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2015, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Board permits. All bids should be received by 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4,2015. Failure to have a bid submitted prior to Bid opening may prevent the reading of your Bid.

The Board of Education cannot assume the responsibility for any delay as a result of failure of the mail to deliver proposals on time.

LOCATION OF OPENING:

Bids will be opened and read at the Boyle County Board office, 1651 Perryville Rd. Danville, KY 40422. You are invited to be present at the opening. Evaluations will be based on numerous items, such as cost, safety, references, etc.

II. BID TERMS

A. Boyle County Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids received as a
result of this IFB. If a bid is selected, it will be the most advantageous regarding
price, safety, quality of service, the Contractor's qualifications and capabilities to provide the
specified product orservice, and other factors which Boyle County Schools may consider.

B. Boyle County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in bids or bidding procedures, and to accept or further negotiate cost, terms, or conditions of any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County even though not the lowest bid.

C. Bids must be signed by an official authorized to bind the contractor to itsprovisions for at least a period of sixty (60) days. Failure of the successful bidder toaccept the obligation of the contract may result in the cancellation of any award. If awarded product must be delivered within 45 days.

D. Bids should be prepared simply and economically providing a straight-forward,
concise description of the contractor's ability to meet the requirements of the IFB.
Bids shall be written in ink or typewritten. No erasures are permitted. Mistakes
may be crossed out and corrected and must be initialed in ink by the person signing
the bid.

E. Bid Price should include all fees and should be final purchase price.

F. Electronic submissions in response to this Invitation for Bid will not be accepted. All submissions must be on paper.
