The undersigned______, with the present form, declares his/her will to participate to the EFCATS Young Generation Catalysis Challenge, which will be held in Wageningen University and Research (WUR), The Netherlands, from 9 to11 July 2018.

The undersigned______understood the Contest rules and explicitly accept them as mandatory principles for his/her participation.

In this respect, the undersigned explicitly accepts that:

He/Shewill participate to the Contest as a member of an International Team and raises no objections to work in team with the other members chosen by the Organising Committee;

He/She accepts that the topic of the Contest, will be announced on the first day of the venue, by the Organising Committee;

He/She accepts to present, together with the other team members, the results of the team’s work to all the other teams participating to the Contest, to the public and to the EFCATS Jury;

Each team will remain collectively entitled to the intellectual property of the information, documents, videos and other items submitted in connection with the Contest;

By entering into the Contest, each participant automatically agrees to grant EFCATS the right to reproduce, disclose or use the submitted information and materials for its publicity, marketing and other external or internal purposes, free of charge. This includes EFCATS’s right to publish photos and videos taken during the final event;

He/She acknowledges that the Contest is public in nature and that information will be shared on a non-confidential basis;

He/Sheunderstands that thepublic presentation of the team’s work during the Contest, may preclude them from obtaining intellectual property protection for their findings.

He/Shewill hold EFCATS harmless from all and against all claims, actions, liability and other damages in respect thereto.

In case of disputes between the Teams or the Team members, He/She accepts to resolve these disputes amicably in mutual consultation. If this does not lead to a successful resolution, EFCATS will assume a mediating role. If this mediation fails, the parties can present their dispute to the court in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
