Job Role: Corporate & Trust Fundraiser
Hours: Part time, 22.5 to 30 hours per week considered
Hourly Rate: £22,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience to be pro-rated

We are seeking a Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser to leadon the administration and delivery of our Corporate and Trusts fundraising programme. You will be responsible for researching, engaging, building and developing relationships with local companies and businesses, charitable trusts and foundations to maximise income generation and increase awareness in halow project. The successful candidate will be an effective and professional ambassador for the organisation with our funders and potential supporters (focused on charitable trusts, foundations and companies), in order to bring in both restricted and unrestricted income for halow project, in line with our budgeted expectations. You will contribute to our fundraising communications strategy and ensure that charitable trusts and companies are recognised for their support.
Trusts and Grants and Corporate Fundraising currently contribute to around 25% of our annual income and are key areas where we believe we can significantly increase income for the organisation.
You will be responsible for developing the annual plan for trust, grant and foundation applications, initiating and securing funding for projects based around emerging business plans and you will ensure that all reporting needs are met. You will work with other teams in halow to develop multiyear funding applications and you will ensure that there aresuccession plans in place for funding. You will build on current relationships with funders and develop a process for researching and cultivating new funders.
The Corporate and Trust Fundraiser will work with Surrey and London based corporations with whom we have existing connections to develop and maximise income potential from these relationships. You will research and develop potential new connections to engage local companies and leverage support for funding through corporate donations, employee fundraising, sponsorship and hospitality opportunities for our events as well as securing employee volunteering opportunities with halow young people and projects. You will also work with other teams in halowand local businesses to provide our young people with opportunities for training, work place visits or work placements.
Ideally you will have experience of fundraising from Trusts and / or the corporate sector, have strong presentation skills and be confident at making fundraising approaches at all levels. You will be results orientated and commitment to achieving budgets with excellent communication, networking, and strong relationship building skills.
The Corporate and Trusts fundraiser will deliver, evaluate and contribute to the development of the Trust and Corporate Fundraising strategy working closely with the Head of Fundraising, Director and key stakeholders to ensure halow maintains its excellent reputation locally.
