USS Theodore Roosevelt Family Readiness Group Scholarship
Theodore Roosevelt committed his life to building America through leadership, citizenship and education.
He truly believed in lifelong education, and once said, “It is essential that there should be the amplest opportunity for every kind of higher education.”
In keeping with TR’s ideals and his commitment to education and leadership, the USS Theodore Roosevelt Family Readiness Group (TRFRG) will award scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year to further the education of today’s students.
There will be scholarships for non-traditional students, typically spouses, who may have attended college at one time, but have taken time away from earning a degree due to family, career or other reasons. The other scholarships will be for traditional students, typically dependents, who are or plan to attend college for the first time immediately after high school.
