Introduction
This brochure outlines information about the events and information sessions available to adult volunteers across the County.
It provides details on the events that are organised by the County on a regular basis to help our volunteers keep up to date with Guiding developments and information. The events also provide new ideas and refresh activities that can be incorporated into unit programmes.
Individual details about specific events will be posted regularly on the website together with dates and information cascaded through the normal channels that are via Division and District meetings and e-mails.
In addition to County events Region and Divisions organise events so it is important you keep up to date with information being sent to you.
All events are organised by volunteers and aim to help volunteers manage their units and the various roles in Guiding. Your help and cooperation when booking and attending events is welcome.
We value feedback on our events and any new ideas you may have for new events so please talk to your commissioners and Guiding Development reps so that we can keep the events focused on what you need.
