Welcome: Maureen Fairbanks opened the meeting at 7:07 PM.
Attendees: Maureen Fairbanks, Amy McEvoy, Brenda Thomas, Sue Smith, Coach Ealy, Coach Brubaker, Tracy Peifer, Heather Rachel, Linda Bell, David Scharf and Kelly Wieand.
MayMinutes: David Scharf made a motion to approve the minutes. Kelly Wieand second the motion. Approved.

- The following were elected and approved to the Big “E” Booster Club for 2017-18:
- Amy McEvoy – President
- Melissa Rhoads – Vice President
- Sue Smith – Treasurer
- Linda Bell - Secretary
- Just a reminder: Melissa Rhoads comes with a disclaimer as she is the Senior Night Photographer hired by the Big E Booster Club. She will abstain from voting on items related to her business, Hatha Photography. Plus her invoices need to be approved by the secretary AND the president before they go to the treasurer for payment.

- Kaitlyn Welch – Lebanon Valley College
- Braydon Shuck – Lebanon Valley College
- Upcoming Fundraisers:
- Girls Soccer – 8/26 Car wash
- Fall Sub Sale – Open to all teams, date being planned.
- Fair Parking –Each team will get a two (2) slot maximum. Attendees at the meeting received first choice for times and locations. Parking fundraiser is split 50/50 with The Big E Booster Club.
- Athletic Director Comments:
- Linda is doing good.
- Varsity Jackets:
- Gift Cards vs. Varsity Jacket. PIAA says NO to the gift card. Possibly apparel like a sweatshirt could be an option to the Varsity Jacket.
- Sports Writer from Lancaster Newspaper will write about fundraisers. The Advocate is now owned by Lancaster Newspaper. Subscription to the Lancaster newspaper will get you a FREE subscription to The Advocate.
Team Reports:
Baseball: Had a great season. Made it to Districts but lost to Manheim Central.
Basketball, Boys: Nook Summer League, Tuesday/Thursday workouts.
Basketball, Girls: Looking forward.
Bowling: Girls bowling is heading to Nationals.
Cross Country: Off season
Field Hockey: No report.
Golf: No report.
Lacrosse, Boys: No report.
Lacrosse, Girls: Off season. Working out on Sundays.
Soccer, Boys: Boys/Girls Soccer – Community United on Sat., 9/30/17, double-header, proceeds going to Red Card for Cancer
Soccer, Girls: Injuries. Another big turnout of Middle School girls. Boys/Girls Soccer – Community United on Sat., 9/30/17, double-header, proceeds going to Red Card for Cancer. Tuesday/Thursday interval training, (3) scrimmages scheduled, Game of chance license – one month (no games of chance can be held on school property).
Softball: Made it to districts, young group, finished 11-9.
Swimming: Off season.
Tennis, Boys: Looking for a new coach.
Tennis, Girls: Summer Leagues.
Track: Katie placed at states / Nationals competition. 9th grade runners meet 6/17-6/18/17. Jr. Olympics – Steve Dixon did place.
Volleyball, Boys: No report.
Volleyball, Girls: 20 girls showing up for open gyms on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Wrestling: No report.
