Plan Student Seminar
Contact speakers
Secure speakers
Communicate with speakers about presentation leading up to the Seminar
Obtain speaker PowerPoint
Organize speaker introductions - typed out introductions and find volunteers to read introductions

March 1: Sub-committee conference call
May 1: Compile programming outline with list of speakers and back-up speakers
June 1: Pick date and location for seminar
June 1: Contact first-choice speakers; proceed to contact back-up speakers if necessary
June 15: Have speakers confirmed
Sponsorship & Donation

Responsibilities:
Sponsors for breakfast and lunch if at all possible
Leadership Summit sponsors if at all possible
Vendors - some years have vendors present, others don’t. If a company wants to send a vendor in exchange for sponsorship, great.
Raffle items
Obtain t-shirt/gear from each ATEP
Sponsor contact list
Work with MATS Sponsorship & Donation committee chair - Rick Bancroft
Organize raffle at seminar

Develop all aspects of a state-wide humanitarian effort that will culminate at the Student Seminar.

Organize responses and payment from program directors
Provide attendees with information about summit
Reserve location for activity
Reserve area at restaurant.
Pre-order food from restaurant.
Arrange housing for attendees if necessary

Responsibilities:
Create MATS Bowl Questions
Get questions reviewed
Questions into TurningPoint
Find MATS Bowl Judges and emcee
MATS Bowl prize (work with sponsorship)
MATS Bowl trophy (obtain from last year’s winning school)
Work with winning school to provide GLATA travel money (approx. $300)
