Job title:Senior Consultant

Reporting to:Principal Consultant

The following requirements are applicable to all Senior Consultants at KKP as well as the team delivering the Local Football Facility Plans across England and should be viewed within this context.

Objectives of role:

To manage and deliver consultancy assignments, research and reports effectively and cost-efficiently.

To lead and support the management of project teams, across a range of assignments, ensuring effective project delivery.

Responsibilities

Consultant delivery

Managing and co-ordinating projects, ensuring that they are delivered to deadline.

Support the management of project resources, including staff, to ensure the effective use of resourcesto meet delivery requirements.

Producing accurate high-quality reports within agreed timescales & to meetthe requirements of the relevant brief.

Client focus

Ensure project milestones and standards are met in line with client expectations and requirements.

Ensure regular contact is maintained with clients to ensure they are kept informed of progress.

Deal with challenges calmly and objectively, maintaining the client’s confidence in their resolution.

Business development and management

Support the preparation of bids and tenders for new work.

Participate in marketing events, corporate entertainment and other business advancement activities.

Communicate and support company messages.

Quality assurance

Ensure that the company’s methodologies and quality assurance processes are implemented.

Review project delivery and ensure improvements are incorporated into future projects and the company’s quality management system.

Professional development

Maintain up to date knowledge of industry and trends to maintain professional competence and credibility.

Attend training programmes, seminars, development activities or informal training when and where required.

Contribute to presentations at workshops and seminars and produce appropriate articles for external consumption.
