Student Registration Procedure

1. Go to and click the Registerbutton for students.

2.To register, you will need these 3 things:

A valid e-mail address
The MyMathLab Course ID from your instructor ---- presser29954
A student access code, which should have come packaged with your textbook

If you do not have a student access code, click the link to Purchase online access with a credit card.You will still need to provide your Course IDto complete registration.

3.On the Access Information page:

Under Do You Have a Pearson Education Account?, select No, I Am a New User.
Under Access Code, enter yourstudent access code in the boxes provided.
Under School Location, enter your school zip code and select a country from the drop-down list.
Click Next.

If you do not have a student access code, you can purchase immediate access to MyMathLab online using a credit card. Click your internet browser's Back button; then click the link to Purchase online access. You will still need to provide your course ID to complete registration.

4.On theCourse IDpage, enter the course ID your instructor gave you and click Next.

5.On the Account Information page under Personal Information:

Enter your First Name.
Enter your Last Name.
Enter your E-mail Address.

6.On the Account Information page under School Information:

Select your school from the drop-down list and click Next.

If your school is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the drop-down list and select “Other.” Then enter your school name and city and select the state.

7.On the Account Information page under Login Name ad Password:

Enter your desiredlogin name, which you will use to log in to CourseCompass and your MyMathLab course from now on. Choose something you can remember but don't think anyone else would request. Your login name must be at least 4 characters.
Enter your desired password. Your password must be at least 4 characters.
Re-type your password for verification.

If the login name & password combination you entered has already been used, you will be prompted to try another login name and/or password when you click Next.

8.On the Account Information page under Security Question:

From the drop-down list, select the security question you wish to be asked should you ever forget your login name or password.
Type the answer to the question.

9.On the Account Information page under License Agreement and Privacy Policy:

Click the links provided to review the license agreement and privacy policy.
Click Next to complete your registration.

10. You have successfully registered for your MyMathLab course!

Print the Confirmation and Summary pageso you will have a record of your login name and password.
Click the Log In Now button to access your course.

11.You will be taken to the CourseCompass home page at.

From now on you will enter your MyMathLab course from this site, so bookmark this page!
Click the Log In button for students.

12.Enter the login name and password you created during registration and click Log In.

13.You will see your MyMathLab course title under Courses you are taking. Click the course title to begin exploring MyMathLab!
