Team Lead-Revenue Accounting and Reporting
Function as supervisor to revenue reporting analysts and reports directly to the Head of Finance. The role involves working hand-in-hand with officers to ensure the achievement of set targets of the team. Develop solutions and maintain excellent relationship with stakeholders. Assist the Head of Reporting with month end presentations to CFO and year-end audit.
Key activities were the capturing, monitoring and analysing of:
- Contribution margin
- Cost of sales and
- Accounts Receivable.
My team under my leadership achieved the best inventory reporting 2010, by adopting creative and smarter means that ensured data integrity which was rear with inventory numbers in Vodafone.

Head Invoicing Unit/Accounts Payable
Role involved managing Vodafone Ghana’s Invoice Payable. It also covered all planning and implementation of process improvement policies as well as procedures, managing of suppliers and year-end audit assistance. Role reports directly to the Head of Accounts Payable and the Financial Controller as well as provide vital information to other units of the business.
Main activities included:
- Review and posting of Payable transactions into the general ledger
- Reconciliation of Sub-ledger to General Ledger.

Assistant Finance Manager, Corporate Finance/Process Improvement
The role involved being responsible for the Monitoring, Revaluation, Accounting and Reporting of Investments and Loans. Included also was the responsibility of managing Finance lease and preparation of Month-End Schedules for the Head of Central Finance. Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the National Communication Authority, GIFTEL among others.
The role was extended into the Business Transformation activities during the acquisition of Ghana Telecom. Key activities here included the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies, processes and procedures in order to best position the business.
The immense contribution of this role was very much appreciated by management and this was recognised. I received the Best Worker for finance Operations 2008.
