Available to employees working 39.5 hours or more.
Health Insurance
Health insurance is provided at a minimal cost to the employee, and is available for family members at a reasonable premium. Coverage is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Life Insurance
A $25,000 life insurance policy is included with the benefits provided by PrudentialLife Insurance Company, at no cost to the employee.
Dental Insurance
Delta Dental Plan of Oklahoma provides EFC dental coverage. There is minimal cost for employee coverage, and family members may be enrolled for a reasonable premium.
Cafeteria Plan
The cafeteria plan through AFLAC offers a wide variety of additional programs such as supplemental life, accident, intensive care, and cancer, plus childcare and medical reimbursement. EFC pays for the administration of these plans.
Available to all employees.
Vision Insurance
Vision insurance is available at a minimal cost to the employee, and is available for family members at a reasonable premium. Coverage is provided by VSP vision care.
Professional Insurance
EFC provides professional insurance (Scottsdale) for all employees.
LEAVE TIME
Available to employees working 20 hours or more.
Pro-rated for employees working less than 39.5 hours.
Vacation
Employees are eligible for vacation after 6 months of employment.
0 - 5 years = 7 hrs./mo.
5 - 10 years = 10 hrs./mo.
10 + years = 12 hrs./mo.
Sick, Emergency, Mental Health, and Bereavement
Leave time is accrued at 8 hours per month. The Sick Leave Sharing Program allows employees to donate their sick leave and vacation time to a seriously ill co-worker, after that person has exhausted their leave and vacation time. Bereavement leave is considered as emergency leave. Each full-time employee is allowed one Mental Health Day per year provided they have accrued sufficient sick-leave time.

Professional Education
Professional employees may attend education programs required to retain their license/ certification or other required trainings at full salary.
Jury Duty
Absence due to jury duty is compensated at the employee's full salary, less any compensation from the courts.

Benefit eligibility starts after the probationary period.

Salary Compensation
Employees' salaries are paid every other Wednesday. Employees have the choice of direct deposit or a paycheck.
Tax Sheltered Annuity
EFC offers a tax deferred (403B) savings program. Employees may start to contribute at employment. EFC will match up to 4 percent of the employee's salary after 1 year of employment.
Employee Assistance Program
EFC has an agreement with CowleyCountyCommunityMentalHealthCenter in Arkansas City, KS, to exchange counseling for employees. An employee may receive up to 12 outpatient sessions per year, at no charge.
Wellness Benefit
A $25 Wellness Benefit is paid on a monthly basis for prevention related health improvement expenses, e.g., membership fees to YMCA, Weight Watchers, and Curves. Non-retro benefit. This benefit is pro-rated for part-time employees
Y.M.C.A.
EFC offers a YMCA corporate sponsorship to its employees, by payroll deduction, which allows for reduced membership fees. The YMCA locations are in Ponca City and Stillwater.
