Campaign Poster Project

1.  Create an 8.5 x 11 inch portrait document in Adobe In Design with .5 inches on all sides.

2.  Save the file to your folder and name it “Campaign Poster”.

3.  Choose a subject for your poster, either a political referendum or a candidate running for public office.

4.  Include the following in your poster:

  1. A large boldface headline, centered across the top of the page (ex: “Elect John doe for President”)
  2. A graphic image of the candidate or something relating to the candidate or referendum being promoted.
  3. A slogan to capture the essence of your campaign poster’s message.
  4. A brief summary describing the candidate or political cause.
  5. A bulleted list that provides highlights about the candidate or the political cause.
  6. A call to action message that encourages readers to act on the message being delivered in the poster. (when voting will happen)

5.  Enhance the look of your poster with more graphics and text where you see fits.

6.  Format the size, style and placement of text and other elements on the document so that it looks professional.

7.  Print, write you name on the back and turn into the tray.
