- Francine to send them to members and to be discussed at next meeting
- Report to CPO Board (Nancy)
- Need to engage the CPO Board members with the Community
- January or February 2009 meeting at the Centre Richelieu in Vanier-Report on Vanier initiatives, what worked and what didn’t
- Have a written report on the initiatives
- Invite the public
- Commission someone from the community to do report

- Redoing the Survey (Nancy)
- A reminder that we are on the right track
- 495 Surveys done last year
- Sub-group to meet and discuss the survey (Andrew Rheaume-Paul Johnston-Holly Johnson). Same survey but could change or add 1 or 2 questions
- Bring survey at Drug and Prostitution meeting in September 24th
- Co-op student can enter data and distribute some surveys

- Nancy to contact Perspectives Vanier to reserve 4 pages in late September
- Nancy to organize the meeting with sub-committee for survey

- Eric gave an update of his meetings and contacts

- 2 students working on the inventory at CSC Vanier
- Possible name change for Drugs and Prostitution
- Presented (“Health and Well Being”) at Drug and Prostitution but decided to wait until the Community Association was in place-Meeting on June 10th from 5 to 8 p.m. au Centre Richelieu

a) Drugs and Prostitution
- 40 people attended-Need to get new people involved
- Reports from Alain Bernard and different committees
- Next meeting September 24th
b) Beautification
- Clean up day went well-125 people came to help out
- Community members are organizing events
- A meeting to see what worked and what didn’t will be held
- Still have the Street Audit to do-CPTED
- Next meeting May 15th
- Report on meeting for Housing Issues & upcoming meeting on services for sex-trade workers (Nancy)
- Meeting was held on April 1st. Open Dialogue with Action Vanier, Police, Housing, CSC Vanier
- Finalizing contract with Elizabeth Fry – 1 night a week-Friday at CSC Vanier
- Police to communicate with Cornerstone, St-Joe’s, The Well, for help when the STW are released from cell block
- Banner-Logo (Andrew)
- “Ensemble pour Vanier/Together for Vanier”
- For community Events (Community Day etc)
- Have a community Competition-advertise in community papers-Give a prize (certificate for groceries)
- Have the 3 logos and a space for the competition winner’s art work

- Governance
- We should focus on governance at the next meeting and the future structure when the community association comes into existence.
