Working area / 2008: achieved permanent position as Associate Professor in Plant Pathology Research Institute, AgriculturalResearchCenter (A.R.C). Main fields of research:.
- Fungal populations, soilborne, fungal genetics, biological control, vegetative compatibility, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, and Trichoderma.
- Molecular diagnostics and biological control of phytopathogenic fungi.
- Ecology and application of Trichoderma in biological control of cotton diseases
- Molecular ecology of Trichoderma and Fusarium spp.
- Development of marker-assisted selection systems for antagonistic microorganisms.
- Develop/refine suitable methods for extracting from infected plants, infested soil and contaminated seed
- Develop and evaluate a suitable sampling strategy for detecting Fov in the field
