BANCFIRST – STROUD/DAVENPORT BRANCHES

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

BancFirst will award a Scholarship in the amount of $200.00 to a graduating high school Senior under the following guidelines:

  1. Applicant will be required to complete a Scholarship application form and write a one-page Essay entitled, “My Plans to Further My Education and Why I Need this Scholarship.”
  2. Since BancFirst is an Oklahoma based Bank, candidates that plan to attend an Oklahoma based school will be considered first.
  3. To be eligible, Candidates must have maintained at least a 2.50 GPA throughout their high school years.
  4. Candidates will turn in Application with Essay attached to their high school counselor (or principal) who will inform BancFirst that applications have been received or will fax to the BF location.
  5. A Bancfirst Scholarship Committee shall review Applications and Essays and select the Recipient.
  6. A Bancfirst representative will announce the Scholarship recipient at the school Awards program or format used by school to announce awards.
  7. Recipient shall present to BancFirst a Proof of Enrollment at an accredited OKLAHOMA university or vo-tech college prior to the start of fall semester in order to receive the scholarship funds.
  8. Recipient must request the Scholarship funds NO LATER than the start of the SPRING college term following his/her high school graduation or the Scholarship may be null and void at the discretion of BancFirst.
  9. There will be no Alternate. BancFirst may award additional Scholarships at any time at its discretion.
  1. Application Deadline April 1st.

To receive the Scholarship you must present Proof of Enrollment (at an accredited university or vo-tech college) to the BancFirst location in Stroud or Davenport prior to the start of the fall semester of college following your graduation. You must request the Scholarship no later than the start of the SPRING college semester following your graduation from high school or it may be null and void at the discretion of BancFirst.
