Topics for presentations related to Creation Science
Helmut Welke; M.S.
President, Quad-City Creation Science Association
“Top Three Reasons Evolution is Bad Science” - Introductory talk that covers the basic questions surrounding the theory of evolution. These include “Could evolution start without a Creator?”, “Could evolution actually happen according to genetics?”, and “Did evolution actually happen in the past according to the fossil record?”
“Evolution: Bad Theology and Bad Science” - Reviews 3 implications for theologians and the propensity to compromise with evolutionists versus what the Bible actually says. This goes on with summaries of why Darwinism is not good science. Good for Sunday service.
“Evolution: An Unnatural Selection” - Reviews 3 implications for theologians who try to compromise the Bible with Darwinian evolution. Also discussed is the difference between natural selection and Darwin’s theory of a common ancestor in light of today’s advances in Genetics. What the Bible plainly says is what we also see in science as predicted by Romans 1: 20. Good for Sunday service.
“Millions of Years! Where did the idea come from?” - Reviews the pre-Darwin history of doubting Genesis’s six days and the lack of science that is behind it. . Interesting insights from Niagara Falls and more! Longer version can include a review of radiometric dating.
“Dinosaurs, People, and the Bible” - A review of seven key evidences that Humans and Dinosaurs co-existed. Some major discoveries have been made that show dinosaurs could not possibly have disappeared 65 million years ago. The implications of these findings and what could have happened to them are also reviewed. (good anytime! And very popular!)
“Flood Geology” - A review of the geological evidences for the World-Wide Flood of Genesis and issues such as the capacity of Noah’s ark. - two versions one with emphasis on rafting in the Grand Canyon, and one that ends with an altar call.
“In God’s Image? or Planet of the Apes?” - Investigates the evidence for Ape to Human evolution, including Neanderthals and Lucy, as well some of the more recent discoveries.
“DNA - How Genetics is Confirming the Creation account and Discrediting evolution.” A very interesting and dynamic PowerPoint presentation on DNA including some recent findings, and how it relates to natural selection and mutations.
“Comparative Anatomy: Evolution or Design?” A review of Homology and how it is used as evidence for Darwinian evolution, despite being based on circular reasoning.
“The Fossil Record: Evidence for Evolution or Creation?” Fossils! How formed and what they ‘say’.
“Big Bang in Big Trouble” - Astronomy, specifically the Big Bang theory is reviewed along with 10 scientific reasons the big bang theory is no longer viable.
“The Heavens Declare the Glory of God” - Astronomy evidences for creation with an emphasis on scientific evidences for a young sun and young solar system.
“Evolution: Good or Bad Fruit?” - review of the impact Darwinism has had on Culture and Science. - often done in conjunction with Ken Ham video from Answers in Genesis.
“Carbon-14 and the age of the earth” – A quick review of carbon-14 dating, what it shows and some startling results from around the world.
“Drug-resistant Bacteria and Evolution” – This presentation reviews what Natural Selection is all about. It then reviews the claims of evolutionists (including text books) pertaining to drug resistant bacteria and the real implications. It results in a clear understanding of what Natural Selection is and what it does.

To Whom It May Concern,
It is my privilege to recommend to you Helmut Welke as a speaker on the topic of Creation vs. Evolution. He is associated with the Answers in Genesis ministries of Ken Ham as a video conference leader and is a solid speaker and well versed in the material through his own study of the subject. He communicates well and is a good presenter who seeks to engage his listeners and helps them to understand even difficult concepts and terminology.
Just recently, our ministry invited Helmut to be a guest speaker for a four hour short seminar on the Creation subject for a high school/college age audience of students who were giving of their summer to do evangelistic ministry with children. This was held at our camp during our two week training school. We felt it was important to ground our students in the historical account of Genesis, in which the Gospel of Jesus Christ is rooted.
Helmut did a good job of covering a vast number of pertinent topics during his sessions intermixing videos, power point, and topics of discussion. On Sunday morning for our Sunday School hour, he developed a special session which he developed on the Flood. The format was as a Sunday School educational/Bible Study class talking about the seriousness of sin, evidences for a recent, world-wide flood, and in the latter days how people would deny the a world-wide flood and mock the coming of Christ and the prevailing moral of the times would be like the days of Noah.
Helmut Welke knows his subject, but even more important he is passionate about God’s Word and the truth that what God said in His Word is true and can be trusted despite the attacks and the distortions of man’s vain philosophies which either discard or seek to discredit the very Word of God.
Sincerely,
Katrina D. Forseth
