ARN CELEBRATES AS KYLE & JACKIE O
WIN BEST ON AIR TEAM AT
2015 ACRA AWARDS
AND CONGRATULATES ALL ARN WINNERS
ARN congratulates KIIS 1065’S Kyle & Jackie O on being named Metropolitan Best On-Air Team (FM), at the 27th annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards announcedtonight at a gala black tie event on the Gold Coast. This is the fifth year that the superstar duo have taken home the big prize.
Of their win, Jackie said: “It’s always great to be recognised by the industry as the best on-air team. We’ve been working together for 15years now, we absolutely love what we do and we love working with our amazing team at KIIS.”
“We love our listeners and it’s important to us to give them the most entertaining show possible. People always say it’s just nice to be a finalist, which of course it is, but let’s face it, winning is the best! Especially when there’s a great party thrown in. Thanks everyone,” added Kyle.
The Kyle & Jackie O Showalso took out the award for Best Station Promotion for their Kyle & Jack Give Back Wedding, which went viral globally, featuring a surprise live performance by international superstar Ed Sheeran.
For the second consecutive year, Laura Viglino was named Best Show Producer(Entertainment/Music) for her work on WSFM’s breakfast showJonesy & AmandaIn The Morning.Brendan “Jonesy” Jones andAmanda Keller also took home Best Syndicated Program for their national weekly show My Generation produced by Authentic Entertainment.
ARN’s Sydney marketing team were awarded Best Marketing Campaign for the WSFM Pure Gold Campaign, while Michael Dargan, Tim Ross and Alex Dalrymple picked up the Best Multimedia Execution – Sales for theirIKEAcampaign for the KIIS national network.
ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell congratulated all ARN winners.

Entries for the awards were received from 260 metropolitan and regional radio stations across Australia.The gala event was hosted by comedian and actor Stephen Curry with more than 1000 radio industry stars, personalities and media executives from around Australia in attendance.
