Halloween Party Friday is the final date for the purchase of Halloween party tickets. If you would like to go, please get your tickets at lunchtime in the canteen from the S6 social committee or when they visit registration groups. Your school needs you!

Computer Game Competition Information has been given to your register teacher regarding a competition to design a computer game. This is being led by The Moray Council and Moray College. If you are interested in entering this competition then please pick up an application form and information from your register teacher. If additional applications are required then please see K Grant in G21. The closing date for entries is the 31st October 2016. (KJG)

Eco Committee Monday 24th Eco Committee meeting at school garden to discus the placement of the gub hotels and the bat boxes.

Switch off Fortnight From the 14th to the 27th of November we are asking the school to take part in the switch off fortnight. This allows the schools energy usage to be lowered and will help us towards achieving our green flag because it is part of our energy topic. During these 2 weeks surveys will be taken of the classrooms to see what electrical appliances have been left on or off. Thank you from the Eco Committee.

Art – 2.123S (Mrs Lee’s rotation). Clay mugs are fired and ready to collect. You have until the end of term to collect them from the Art department.

S1-S3 Girls Football – Training will start after the October holidays on Monday’s afterschool. It will run from 3.30 – 4.30 in the games hall. If you have any questions, please see Miss Gardiner.

Creative Industries – Film Industry Career Presentation This will take place in the Assembly Hall on Monday 24th October at 2.30p.m. All S4 students should report to their period 6 class to be registered and then make their way directly to the hall. If any other student in S5 or 6 who has an interest in a career in the Film Industry and wishes to attend the presentation then they should give their name to Mrs Bowley or Mrs Grant by Friday 7th October. Nature Photography Competition Can be any kind of nature photography e.g birds, insects, flowers, landscapes, rivers etc. Enter to have your photos featured in the next newsletter and you can enter as many times as you want. The deadline is the 30th October and your entry must include your name and class. All year groups can enter. Posters are around the school for information.
