Finance Assistant
Hours:Full time, 36 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £24,990 (Scale 6)
Holiday: 26 days’ annual holiday to be taken during school closures
Coldfall Primary School is committed to the safeguarding of all our children and staff. Successful candidates will be required to complete a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance.
Core purpose:
To oversee all the day to day financial requirements of the school, ensuring accurate, timely and effective administrative procedures are in place.
Key duties:
To administrate and keep accounts for the following:
- Dinner money
- Extra-curricular clubs
- Lettings
- Extended day provision (Breakfast and After School Clubs)
- Nursery provision
- School trips and visits
- Charity fundraising and other one off events
In addition:
- Invoice processing and raising orders
- Bank reconciliation
- Petty cash
- Overtime claims and payments
- Payroll reconciliation
- Chasing outstanding debts
To undertake any duties consistent with the post as directed by the Head Teacher or School Business Manager.
