COEDU Requirements

  • The Master of Education degree requires a minimum of 33 Credit Hours.
  • All coursework must have been completed within 5 years of the date of graduation.
  • Electives may be any 5000 or 6000 level course.
  • Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 credits offered from the Tampa Campus during the semester in which they graduate or when taking the Comprehensive Exam.
  • Graduation: Apply Sept 1 for Fall, Feb 1 for Spring, and June 1 for Summer. Retrieve the form from

  • Courses selected for the Concentration must be made with the concurrence of the academic advisor.
  • For students desiring 18 hours from the mathematics department to situate themselves for teaching mathematics at the community college level, know that the number of courses offered late afternoon or evening may be somewhat limited.
