Training and Outreach Programme - Transnational Access Grants

APPLICATION FORM

Transnational Access Grants offered by the partners of the EMbaRC Training and Outreach Programme are organised to promote a more intensive collaboration between the European Microbial Resources Centres and researchers studying microbial diversity in the EU or Associated States.

They are assigned to researchers or groups of researchers holding at least a bachelor’s degree and having relevant experience in research.

These grants, given for short combined research and training period, concern the sector of microbiology, with specific topics set by the members of the EMbaRC according to their research programmes. The various themes and fields can be viewed on EMbaRC project website:

The amount of the grant covers travel, subsistence, insurance expenses and bench fee for the scientists concerned.

The research activities are carried out on a full-time basis and reported upon at the end of the stay.

Applications are to be introduced by the candidate user supervisor or head of unit via E-mail and confirmed by letter countersigned by the director of the home institution of the candidate. Please read the Information Note for more details.

The outcome of the User Selection Panel will be forwarded to the EMbaRC partner (access provider) who will inform the user group Leader. The holder of a Grant must start his/her research in within 3 months after the deadline of the application.
