Before the publication of the dates of presentation of pre-application to the Italian Universities, the Italian Embassy in Beijing advises Mongolian students to prepare the following documents:

For Degree courses:

a)  legalization by the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing of their high school diploma, translated into Italian and notarized;

b)  certificate of Italian language level A2 or higher, issued by one of the four certification authorities recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Università per Stranieri di Perugia, Università per Stranieri di Siena, Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Società Dante Alighieri);

c)  valid passport.

Please note:

* students should have an adequate knowledge of the Italian language at A2 level or higher, certified by one of the Italian certification authorities. The Italian Embassy, on receipt of the application, could choose to further verify the language level of the candidate;

* students attending the last year of high school can apply, presenting the documents at points b) and c) and, when they have obtained their high school diploma, should proceed according to the instructions at point a);

* in order to enroll into Italian Universities, applicants whose curriculum of studies (primary + high school) has been completed in 11 years of study should also present a certificate of completion of the first year course in a Mongolian University, translated, notarized and legalized according to the instructions at point a);

* Universities will make the final decision on the pre-enrolment of the students and will inform the Embassy by the second half of the month of August. Only after receipt of the confirmation of acceptance of the pre-enrolment from the University, the Embassy will be in a position to issue a study visa.

For courses of “Laurea Specialistica”

a)  legalization by the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing of their degree, their complete record of studies and course description, translated into Italian and notarized;

b)  certificate of Italian language level A2 or higher, issued by one of the four certification bodies recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Università per Stranieri di Perugia, Università per Stranieri di Siena, Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Società Dante Alighieri);

c)  valid passport.

Please note:

* students should have an adequate knowledge of the Italian language at A2 level or higher, certified by the Italian authorized bodies. The Italian Embassy, on receipt of the application, could decide to verify the language level of the candidate;

* the Universities will make the final decision on the pre-enrolment of the students and will inform the Embassy by the second half of the month of August. Only after receipt of the confirmation from the University, the Embassy will be in a position to issue a study visa.
