TO CHANGE OR RESET AN APPROVAL PASSWORD

  1. Log into Datatel
  1. Enter APPW into the Quick Access Menu and click “Go.”
  1. Enter the User ID in the “Approvals Lookup” dialog box, then click “OK.”
  1. Enter the new approval password in the dialog box, then click “OK.” The new password must be between 6-8 total characters, start with a letter, contain at least two letters, one capital letter, and one number. It can not resemble the User ID or “Password.” Special characters (e.g. * & ^ % $ #, etc.) can not be used.
  1. Re-enter the same new approval password in the dialog box to confirm the change, then click “OK.”
  1. Finally, to finish the process “Save and Update” the changes by clicking on the “Save” Icon (green arrow below) or press <F9>. Then click “Update.”
