September Spelling Activities

This week’s words: / 8. Write your words in three different colors. / 9. Open House / 10. Write each spelling word in a sentence.
This week’s words: / 14. Draw a picture to illustrate each spelling word. / 15. Write your spelling words replacing all vowels witha line. / 16. Write your spelling words replacing all consonants with a line. / 17. Write your spelling words using rainbow colors.
This week’s words: / 21. Write each spelling word in a sentence. / 22. Write your spelling words three times each. Use a different color for each word. / 23. Write your spelling words. Now, write them again and make each consonant red and each vowel blue. / 24. Write your words and cross out all of the silent letters.
This week’s words: / 28. Write your spelling words vertically (going down) three times. / 29. Write your words by cutting out letters in anewspaper or magazine and glue them on a paper. / 30. Write your words by adding one letterat a time. The result will be a pyramid shape of words.
