Google Chrome Bookmarks Export
Open Google Chrome /
Select the settings icon located in the upper right hand corner /
Scroll down to Bookmarks /
Select Bookmark manager /
Once Bookmark manager opens, select the down arrow beside Organize /
Select Export bookmarks to HTML file /
Locate your H: drive under Computer, rename the file if desired and save /
Google Chrome Bookmarks - Import to New Computer/Device
Open Google Chrome /
Select the settings icon located in the upper right hand corner /
Scroll down to Bookmarks /
Once Bookmark manager opens, select the down arrow beside Organize /
Select Import bookmarks from HTML file… /
Navigate to H: drive, and select the file that was exported. Click Open.
The bookmarks have been added to Chrome. /
Internet Explorer Bookmarks Export
Open Internet Explorer /
Select Favorites (star in the upper right corner) /
Click the down-arrow next to Add to Favorites
Select Import and Export
Click Export to a file, Click Next /
Select Favorites, Click Next /
Select the folder that you want to export your favorites from.
If you want to export all Favorites, select the top level Favorites folder. Otherwise, select the individual folder that you want to export.
Next /
Select Browse
Locate your H: drive under Computer, rename the file if desired, and save.
Internet Explorer Bookmarks - Import to New Computer/Device
Open Internet Explorer /
Select Favorites (star in the upper right corner) /
Click the down-arrow next to Add to Favorites
Select Import and Export
Click Import from a file, click Next. /
In the dialogue box – What Would You Like to Import?
Select Favorites, select Next. /
Where do you want to import your favorites from?
Select Browse. The Select Bookmark File Dialogue box opens.
Select your H: drive under computer, select the bookmarks file, select Open. /
