Conference Objectives
At the completion of this offering participants will be able to:
Ø Compare past and current treatment modalities to treat infectious diseases
Ø Understand the use of stereotactic radiotherapy for stage one lung cancer
Ø Identify future trends in cancer pain management therapies.
Ø Name three trends that will impact oncology nursing practice in the future
Ø Identify the physical, emotional, and spiritual effects of cancer on a patient and his caregiver
Ø Explain the connections between humor in the workplace and quality improvement and customer service
Target Audience
Program intended for Oncology Nurses from all practice settings interested in innovative oncology care. The purpose of the conference is to update nurses caring for oncology clients on clinical issues and current trends in cancer practice.
