COUNSELOR’S CORNER
Spring is here along with STAAR testing for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. Students have been working hard all year to prepare for these statewide standardized tests, but test anxiety is still a problem for many students. Some quick stress relievers are deep breathing, stretching and positive self-talk. It can also be helpful to discuss that sometimes students get stuck and might not know an answer, but the most important thing is that they do their best on the questions they know. Take some time to talk with your child about how they are feeling about the upcoming tests and offer your support and encouragement.
Parental Responsibility - Custody Issues
Please assist us in the handling of custody related issues. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide the principal a certified copy of the court order affecting any other person's right to their children. Should you have any questions please call: Rachel Wall, Haude Principal at 832-484-5590.
