Entries and other accompanying material won’t be returned, but each entry will be acknowledged, via email or phone, as having been received. All submitted materials will be deleted and/or destroyed after the judging process. The LearnX Foundation takes no responsibility for damaged or lost entries. You can enter the Awards using the Word-Doc template provided. Alternatively, you can create your own template or PDF and follow the criteria set out for the award. Include any links and/or additional back-up documentation with your entry.

DEADLINE & FEE
Thursday, 14 December 2017. Fee: $150 AUD (GST inclusive) per entry. Payment must be received by the deadline.Payment can be made online HERE. Entries can be submitted before the deadline but they will not be judged/scored until after the deadline.
WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Winners will be contacted via phone or email on Wednesday, 20 December 2017. Winners will receive further communication via email after the announcement.
WHO CAN ENTER?
The iDESIGNX IMPACTAWARD is open to individuals, teams and enterprises from the corporate, education and public-service sectors worldwide, that have deployed an ‘Explainer Video’ since January 2016.Vendors may enter with, or on behalf of a client, with prior endorsement from the client, providing they have rights to materials/content and the authority to submit them.
TEAM DEFINITION
A ‘team’ is defined as being a group that’s come together for the specific purpose of undertaking and completing a project. The team can be from within one enterprise or can have come together from multiple enterprises.
ENTRY OPTIONS
Youcan enter once, or multiple times, with different video projects. A separate application needs to be completed for each entry, along with payment.
JUDGING & CONFIDENTIALITY
Judges are remunerated for their services, to support the highest standard of adjudicating. They are explicitly trained in the awards-adjudicating processes and systems, and are selected for their professional expertise and knowledge of modern learning and capability- management practices and supporting technologies. Judges are selected through a nomination process. To be accepted for initial evaluation a person must have been nominated by three individuals from separate organisations. Self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations for potential judges need to address, in 150 words or less, the nominee’s credentials for judging, in an email to
There are no vendors on the judging panel or awards management team. The quality of the ‘iDESIGNX IMPACTAWARD’ is such that you may need to include confidential information as part of your entry. The LearnX Foundation guarantees that all information supplied will be restricted to the awards management team and judges, and remain strictly confidential. Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into post/prior judging.
AWARDS SCORECARD SYSTEM
The maximum score allocated per entry is 100 points. The rating is as follows:
75 to 100 points – PLATINUM WINNER
60 to 74 points – GOLD WINNER
40 to 59 points – SILVER WINNER
30 to 39 points – FINALIST
00 to 29 points – NON-FINALIST

Receive recognition/marketing assets as follows:
-Receive one certificate per winning entry and postage to a nominated address.

NON-FINALISTS
-Do not receive recognition/marketing assets.
NOTE: If attending iDESIGNX LIVE! SMART LEARNING DESIGN SUMMIT, on Tue 27 Feb 2018, at Rydges World Square Sydney, certificates can be picked up from iDESIGNX reception. Extra certificates can be purchased for $50 AUD (GST inclusive) per certificate. There may be additional costs for postage/handling.
ENTRY PAYMENT METHODS
You must submit payment, and have it cleared, by the deadline date in order for the judging panel to consider your entry. Multiple award entries are acceptable, and a separate fee is applicable for each award entry. Payment for entries can be made via EFT, credit card, money order or cheque. The iDESIGNX IMPACT AWARD focuses on the talented design, development and production capability, relevant to the creation of a short (60 seconds – 5 min) ‘Explainer Video’ that was customised for an enterprise and used as a tool to engage employees and support learning/training. Video styles/types include:

The video can be deployed internally/externally, enterprise-wide or target a specific group. The award is open to individuals, teams and organisations from the corporate, academic and public service sectors.

PART A - 750 words maximum; score out of 50 points
- Explain the scenario in which the enterprise decided to deploy an Explainer Video? Who were the target audience and what were the key challenges of managing this project? (10points)

Did the video require specialist talent for editing, such as text/motion graphic effects, animation and voiceover/music etc?(20 points)
