PARENT / PLAYER AGREEMENT

2012

The purpose the Clarington Girl’s Slo-Pitch Association is to provide the young female athletes of Clarington with an opportunity to play slo-pitch. The Association is dedicated to providing a fun, safe atmosphere where the players are able to learn the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. Therefore, as a parent/guardian of a participant and as a participant, in the Clarington Girls Slo-Pitch Association, I/We agree to the following:

  1. I/We will promote good sportsmanship on and off the field;
  2. I/We will keep my/our expectations realistic;
  3. I/We will be on time for all practices and games;
  4. I/We won’t be a “behind the bench” coach or umpire;
  5. I/We will not yell at, argue with, harass or abuse the Umpires;
  6. I/We will not yell at, argue with, harass or abuse Coaches, or Parents or Players from my child’s team or from the opposing team.

I understand that should the situation arise where I have been found to be breaking this agreement, and after investigation by League Officials, I may not be permitted to attend my child’s game(s). In the event that this agreement continues to be broken, my child may not be permitted to play in the Clarington Girls Slo-Pitch Association and no refund will be given. I further understand that should my child be found to be breaking this agreement the League Officials may not allow my child to participate in the League.

From time to time there is opportunity for Clarington Girls Slo-Pitch to publish pictures highlighting our player’s accomplishments through the local paper and/or the CGSPA website. No names will be published on the website. Please sign the consent to permit us to publish your child’s picture/name. (Where applicable)
