SDG POINTS TROPHY

Points are awarded for each horse and rider combination based on scores accumulated at each competition. There is an Adult and Junior member point’s trophy and rosettes to 6th place are awarded at the AGM in January

RoR –This is for ex racehorses that have raced in GB and are registered with RoR. There will be a point’s trophy awarded at the end of the year. Please state on entry form if eligible.

Veteran –Merriefach Veteran TrophyFor horses and ponies 16 years & over. There will be a point’s trophy awarded at the end of the year. Please state on entry form if eligible.

Wylye Valley Pony Club: Open to all WVPC MembersWVPCRosettes to highest placed Wylye PC Members and points towards WVPC Dressage league. Please state member on entry form. Will also receive Saxon Rosettes and be included in all placings.

Class 1 Saxon Junior W &T Test 10 years and under only.

You may enter both tests in a percentage class. The scores from all tests will be used to determine the placings

Walk & Trot Classes are for Horse & rider combinations without BD points, – also not to have completed any BE event.

Classes may be split/amalgamated dependant on entries

RULES OF ENTRY

  1. Entry fees: DressageSDG Members £9.50 per class Dressage/ Non-Members £13 per class. JUNIOR W & T TEST £8.50 per test (Late entries 50% extra per class – see rule 7)

Fees must be enclosed with entry or entry will not be accepted without.

  1. Competitors must abide by these rules as condition of entry. Members must abide by Saxon Dressage Membership Rules; copies obtainable from website or Entry Secretary. All tests run under BD rules unless otherwise stated. Whips/commanders allowed in all tests unless otherwise stated.
  1. Unless stated on entry form entrants will be placed in open sections. Any restrictions on classes must be adhered to or competitors will be placed in open section.
  1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any competition to which these rules apply nor any agent, employee or representative, accepts any responsibility for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators, land or any other person, howsoever caused.
  1. Riders under 16 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
  1. 6TIMES: Two days before competition call 07808 088039 between 7.30pm 8.30 pm or via the Website
  1. ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY BEFORE COMPETITION. Online entries via at 50% extra per class only if times have not been finalised and space allows. Sorry No Telephone or email entries will be accepted.
  1. All withdrawals to 07808 088039only (by 6pm on the Monday before competition). No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after this time.
  1. Competitors must be correctly dressed as per BD Rules. Hats must adhere to current BRC 2016 Safety Standards. Tack & bits must comply with BD Rules for dressage competitions.
  1. The Committee reserve the right to alter or cancel any show/class, refuse any entries without explanation AND their decision is final. Classes may be split/amalgamated dependant on entry numbers.
  1. All horses and ponies entered must be 4 years old and over. Only horses/ponies entered at the event may be brought/ridden the event Horses and ponies must not be left tied up outside horseboxes/trailers unsupervised.
  1. Alldogsshould preferably be left at home if not they MUST be on a lead at all times.
  1. Please take ALL your litter, hay, droppings etc. home with you.
