Ifthemeetstrokeandturnofficials are duallycertifiedbyUSASwimmingandarestationedateachendofthepool,additionalobserversarenotnecessary.WherethetechnicalruleslistedinArticle101arethesameasthehostorganization,thejudgmentoftheorganizationofficialsshallbesufficient.

ApplicationRequirements:

1)Timingsystemsmustcomplywithconditionsoutlinedin102.24andthefacilitymustcomplywith103.31and

103.13.1.2–USASwimmingRulesRegulations.

2)Athleteswillbepermittedto wearonlyonesuitmeetingtheUSA-Sguidelinesincompetition.

3)Officiating:

a)Thenumber ofAssociationofficialsmustmeet theminimum requirementsas providedinArticle

102.10–USASwimmingRulesRegulations.IftheassociationstrokeandturnofficialsarealsocertifiedbyUSA-Sandarestationedateachendofthepool,noadditionalobserversarenecessary. OfficialsmaynotecompliancewithUSASwimmingTechnicalRulesonlyforthoseswimmersrequestingobservation,ortheentiremeetmay beobserved.

b)Or,aminimumof twoUSASwimmingcertifiedofficialsshallbeassigned,oneateachendof thepool, toverifycompliancewithUSA SwimmingRulesforthoseswimsrequestedtobeobserved.

c)Wherethetechnicalrules aslistedinArticle101arethesame asthehostorganization,thejudgmentof theorganizationofficials shallbesufficient.

d)ThedesignatedUSASwimmingcertifiedofficialmustverifycompliancewithapplicablerulesandprocedures,andshallforwardanyproofoftimesrequests andfinalresultsfornon-NCAAmeetstotheLSCNTVofficial.

e)DisqualificationsforUSA-SviolationsfromNCAAmeetsshallbereported totheTRcommitteerepresentative/ProgramOperationsdesignee;disqualificationsfromnon-NCAAmeetsshallbereportedto theLSCNTVOfficer.

4)ProofofTimesRequests:

a)If anathlete’sUSA-SID#orfulllegalnameandbirthdateisincludedintheelectronicmeetresults,noindividualrequest fordataentryintotheSWIMS systemshouldbenecessary.TheLSC NTVofficialor SWIMSdataofficer shallenter timesforanysuchathleteintoSWIMS.

b)If theabovedataisnotincludedintheelectronic results,individualrequests fortimesmayberequiredbytheLSC NTVofficialwherethemeettook place.
