Administrative Fellowship Program
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is one of the premier centers for pediatric medicine in the United States. Children’s Hospital is an academic medical facility, located on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus alongside other medical facilities. Each year, more than 22,000 children are admitted and more than 300,000 are seen in our outpatient specialty clinics and urgent care locations.
A testament to our national leadership is our designation as the No. 3 pediatric hospital in the nation by Parents magazine. We’re the only hospital in Wisconsin and neighboring states to make the top 10. In addition, Children’s Hospital is included on the U.S.News & World Report America’s Best Children’s Hospitals list. We’ve also received and retained the prestigious Magnet Recognition Award for excellence in nursing – an honor bestowed on only one percent of hospitals worldwide.
For over 20 years, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has been committed to the training of health administration professionals. The administrative fellowship program is an important recruitment tool for our organization to bring in potential management talent. Therefore, we are seeking fellowship candidates who would seriously consider post fellowship employment opportunities with us should the fit be mutually agreeable and a position available.
Children’s competitive package for administrative fellows includes:
· 2-year position beginning June/July of 2012.
· Interview expenses paid by Children’s.
· Annual salary $46,000.
· Health and dental insurance benefits.
· Life Insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
· 23 paid personal days for holidays, vacation, and illness.
· Relocation expenses up to $2,000.
· Funding for one major educational seminar such as ACHE, NACHRI, or CHCA.
· Participation in 403(b) program with 50% employer match, which grows with length of service.

Interviews for June/July 2012 position will be conducted in October/early November of 2011.
