  1. Agnes Drogi Appreciation
  2. Agnes has accepted a position in the Engineering Department as an instructor in the construction management area. She will leave Facility Services August 1st.
  3. Discussion about seeing this as a great opportunity to partner with her.
  4. Jason would like to get connected with her to talk about course potential.
  1. Welcome Sean Kugler, Accessibility Analyst
  2. Sean started in this role on June 15th. He comes from Flagstaff Unified School District.
  1. Update on Disability Heritage Month
  2. Susan Burch – October 22-24
  3. Chris has a tentative schedule and has contacted the library to see about sponsorship – est. $2,500 budget
  4. She is willing to do whatever we feel will be the best use of her time
  5. Lauren will contact the anthropology faculty to see if they would like to partner as well
  6. Philosophy salon
  7. They are flexible on the date, can be wherever it best fits within the schedule
  8. Discussion was October 12th or 19th
  9. IHD open house is October 6th
  10. They are also bringing Andy Imparato back to campus to talk about legal issues – no date set yet
  11. Deej – October 5th-6th latest word from him is that our proposed dates won’t work for his schedule. We can screen the film without him and put together a panel from NAU.

  13. Lauren, Kris, and Sean will work on the mental health symposium
  1. Diversity Strategic Plan Update
  2. Currently there is an outline based on initial meetings with the commissions and Faculty Senate. Priscilla is meeting with EMSA over the summer to work on the student centered goals
  1. Summer Construction Update
  2. A number of projects are slated to begin in July with the beginning of the new fiscal year.
  3. The new performance center construction will close the west side sidewalk of Knoles just south of Cline library for the majority of the summer and from the entrance to PFA until next summer when the new building is slated for completion.
  4. The union lawn project will close the east side of the Knoles sidewalk from Cline library to the entrance to the parking lot on the southeast of the union for most of July and into August.
