Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health
(A) Cancerous pretender;
Sludgy raw blend of your desired poisons -
It’s what smoking earthier pigments from
jungle turfs will infiltrate into everyday life.
And that makes such a reasonably hazy
way to die!
(B) Justice is earthy as a breeze in January;
when the New York streets drip with
knuckles , etcetera......
Smoking river birds ignite smudged gems .
Hysterical indigents fete decaying ashes
that, flying, spell amusing and hazardous lyrics!
(C) Lusting in dirt from original water pains -
By your leave!
Dissident by itch of smoking bladder -
Sir!
Dig about imagination’s earth,
Or in wombs ever wet.;
Descend that helix which has no nipples!

All mankind is prey to indecipherable pain
So rituals stand against accustomed terrors
Flesh’s terrible properties in action impale hope
Awesome forces assault our meditations without Providing alternative heaven
Rue mortal misflights, or bereaving disaster
Mark the clash of immense hearts
Augmented tastes forbidden to spiritual palates
Transform weak men to warpt devils.
Flames over rivers, fingers of salvation’s implicit Hell.
Through mysterious and dark indications
Have I spoken out against arrows
Shot to targets fleeing down rivers
Disordered by the ocean’s immense haze.
Ye mighty forces directing all the forms of poetics to obsure ends,
Urge your tremendous flames to breathe their power
Into passion’s image hoard.
B.
Autumn qualities subtract
Hidden little sparks of light
Nature, amending blue thought-tracks
Of tears by flowing to rivers, or by
Diverting directions of pained hearts
Comfort of mysteries
All mankind loves speculation
On diverse matters and hypotheses.
What must, then, be the agony of
All those who do not understand
How societies rituals are sinister
Computations of ways to hinder
Wonder and magic in life?
MUSICAL FRAGMENTS

Morning
The trodden rose, the reddening morn,
Adorning nodes of thorn-knots
Torn from zones of dying earth.
The door stands ajar; the tenor north
Sighs with odes, with dawn tones
Drawn from sodden Fall’s erring dens
O’er knotted waves, lakes and coves
Winging above desolate knolls
Wrens darting on roads of fire.

And Through Love Only
And through love only
Faithful remain
The which to by sea
By the river remain,
It’s flowing source
And do proof of through love
And do proof of through flowing only
To some remain, a flowing sea
Of proof do, and existence sure
Have love through others
Have love through others
By flowing only
Only by flowing to sea
Through love, and through love only
Do we, as the only faithful river
Have sure proof, which will remain faithful
Which will faithful remain
Some faithful which
As , by the sea,
Will a river remain
And through love only
Faithful remain
The which to by sea

TABOO POETRY
I.
The Abscess:
by Herve Duchasse
How dearly we paid the cheap sins of youth,
Rusting the pin I twine out of the eye;
I, reeling through slaughter, grunt in my sty
To shatter my kneecaps on splinters of truth.
Oh, thrice-blessed Christ, epileptic of days!
I fondle your pardon: forgive these blood-soaked stumps,
And chew, dear Lord, the dung I pat in lumps
Like the knowing butcher , kissing the skin he flays!
I, once, bumbled in Charleville, I dropp’d my pants!
I, Rimbaud of the age, I vaunted my peter!
To slimy bourgeois scum, deguellase cunt-eaters;
Wide assholes labyrinthing billions of ants!
So tender these ruins, of grief and of remorse
These entrails of snot, tarpits of pisses
How swim the green feces of the colic horse
To touch the tumescent Rose with incorporeal kisses?

The Kerry Girl
A Bawdy Ballad
by Seamus McGrath
‘Tis mooch Oy’ve wandrrred oe’r this sorrry planet
And mooch Oy’ve seen t’make a poooorrr mun think
And soouferrred grrreatly for the’grrreen uv Oyerrlind
And more then wounce have sold me soul t’ drrrinkk!
Yet nuthin’ will iver compayre
On a stack uv Bibles Oye swayre
With the weee Kerrry garryl
With the glad oye uv payrrrle
To whom Oye gave mee trroth!!
In twenty-thrree Oye lift mee native filledge
In Kerrry wayrre th’bogs flow to th’strrrand
Oye hiked to Doublin, seekin’ fame and forrrtyune
But was castrrrated boy a Black en’Tan!
Then Oye crroyd for me sorrry disgrrace
Yet mee thoughts were all on the face
Of that weee Kerrry garrryl
Wid the sad oye of payrrrl
To whom oye’d given mee trroth!
A litter rreached me from mee Kerrry darrlingh
“Oy’ve learrned you’ve been oonmaned boy Limey dawgs
But since they’ve sent me both your bouncin’ bollocks
You arren’t needed doon herre, in th’ bogs! ”
Then me fate it was sealed foriver
From mee place uv barrth was Oye severred
And thee weee Kerrry garryl
Wid the false oye of payrrl
To whom Oye’d given mee trroth!
REFRAIN:
OH
WHEN
ME
pecker was a’poppin and oye kipt th’ladies hoppin’
Oye could spind the whool night dancin’ and ‘twas Oye what called the tyune;
Oye could diddle with the fiddle and be mellow with the cello,
And toumble wid mee lady-luve though drrrounkker than a lyoon
BUT
WHEN,
THE
deed that’s done on kittens was perrrformed on mee by Brrritons,
And they dropt me off in Sandymount to bleed away to dith,
Then Oye no more could be merrry wid mee Cushla down in Kerrry,
And Oy’ll be a rovin’ vagabond unto me dyin’ brith!
To fill the ourgint need t’make a livin’
Oye sang in charch, at Vispers and Comploine,
The kaindly munks encooridg’d mee to jain them
And drrrown me grrrim froustrrations in their waine
Yet Oye could niver ferrrget
Be the lickerrr iver so wet
Mee weee Kerrry garryl
With the glad teeeth uv parryl
To whom Oye’d given me trroth
Woun Sounday morn Oye came so full ov’boozin’
That Oye wuz pissin’’ h’wiskey in me pants,
Nor knew that Oye wuz singin’ darrrty ditties’
While the faetherz’ were singin’ their Grrregorrian
chants!
For mee brist wuz aflame wid mee sighs
For the pleasshurres Oy’d known at the thighs,
Uv that weee Kerrry garrryl
Wid the bad teeeth uv parrryl
To whom Oy’d given meee trroth!
When munks and ‘faetherz chased me frrrom their chapel,
Oye asked the Charch uv Oyerlind for a jub
“Alas! We’ve doon no myusik for castrrratti!”
They reployed and sent me off - wid fifeteen bub!
Then Oye bloudied me head on the stones
And belaborrred the ayre wid me moans
For that weee Kerrry garryl
Wid the false teeth uv payrrl
To whom Oye’d given me trrroth.
REFRAIN
OH,
AND
HERE’S
The little ditty that Oye made oup in the city
At th’toyme that Oye wuz warkin’ in the Charch uv St. Kathleen;
You will foind it very foony as it touches on the coony
Uv the boony that I toumbled in Killarrrney on the grrreeen,
OH
HOW
ME
Sweety’s quim was meaty, it was rosy as a posy
And as hairy as the fairy floss whut grrrows on leprechauns,
It could make your body quiver like cirrrhosis uv the liver,
And we frrrollicked through the meadows like the satyrs and the fauns.
Then was Oye strrip’d uv lady, jub an’ coontrry
And toss’d through iv’ry nation like a rrrragg
And often shed Oye many a tear from thinkin’
Uv elves and shamrocks and the Oyrish flagg
That hoong o’rr the garrrdin so fayrre
Uv the maid wid the chirrry-rred hayrre
That weee Kerrry gayrrl
Wid the mad smile of payrrl
To whom I gave me trroth!
Full twenty yearrs Oye trramped thrrough alien witherrrs,
Before me oyes beheld our Oyerish skoiy
Oye’d saved a bag unv guineas , havin’ parrpos’d
To spend it all on drrrinkin’, and to doiy!
And me gayrrrmints wid h’wiskey were reekin’
For me body was faint wid me seekin’
The weee Kerrry gayrrl
Wid the sad smile of payrrl
To whom Oye’d given me trroth
Last night when in St. Stephen’s Grrreeen Oye fainted
Oye thought oye saw me luve beneath a trrreee
Apprrroachin’ quickly wid a jarrrr uv Guinness
To poorrr th’final drafft t’ finish me!
And she crrradled me head in herrr coat
And forrc’d th’voil juice down me thrroat
The weee Kerrry gayrrl
Wid the crrruell smile of payrrl
To whom Oye gave me trroth!!
RAPSODES
White House Halloween Party, 1972
From The Associated Press,
October 30, 1972:
“ Tricia Nixon Cox has hosted some 150 children and their foster grandparents from the ACTION program at a White House Halloween party.
Witches were stirring a bubbling cauldron on the White House porch, and a great pumpkin covered the front door when the children and their escorts arrived Tuesday night.
Mrs. Cox was inside to greet them, wearing a long dress and a sequined mask.
Inside, the White House was decorated with shocks of corn, autumn leaves and flowers and balloons. The Red Room had been converted into a “creepy cave”.
For entertainment for the youngsters, most of them from the Prince Georges, Maryland County Retarded Day Care Center, there were a barbershop quartet, two chimpanzees from the television show ,”Daktari”, and the circus clown Emmett Kelly, Jr.”
Witches stirred a bubbling cauldron on the White House porch , as some 150 grandparents swilled gasoline and coughed up bones fragments. Tricia Nixon Cox , hanging by her neck from a chandelier, handed out Thorazine to the morons . The cactus in the Red Room, courtesy of Edward Teller, spurted mustard, catsup and carcinogenic blood.
Meanwhile , half-way around the noose-sphere on the other side of the planet in Quang Tri , Tanya Phuong huddled , cross- legged and sick in a “creepy cave”. Barbershop quartets sang to her from the crockpits of a squadron of B-52’s aloft on a raid . Code-name: Halloween Hemorrhage.
Alongside her crouched the corpse of her retarded grandmother. All of her teeth, of which less than a Halloween pumpkin’s remained , were decorated with shocks of corn, autumn leaves, flowers and balloons.
Draped in widow’s weeds, a broomshaft screwed through her navel, Madame Nhu sped across the sulfurous disk of America’s beautiful moon. The face of the Tao, burnished and pale , beamed impassively in her wake . Long turquoise-lacquered fingernails of her left hand caressed the stiff broomstalks; a hundred megaton witches’ hat held in her right waved in wide arcs. Spinning out of orbit she chortled, “Giddyup Götterdämmerung!!” The superyowl of the lunar astrocat fractured the cosmic plenum, and a smell of rotten fish fell over all.
Shivering in her “creepy cave”, a starving Tanya Phuong feasted on the eyes of her dead grandmother. As the flesh of her flesh, ( once removed ) , dissolved in her enraged stomach juices, the last vision imprinted on her grandmother’s mind passed into her own and Lo!, she, too, saw all, as in a trance!
Before her stood Anal Bob, The Lord’s Profit, minister to multitudes of autistic tots. Splendidly arrayed in a long green dress, bearing a sequined mask, a catcher’s mitt on one hand and boxing glove on the other , Anal stretched forth his garnerin’ arms and barked like a fiery angel:
