POSITION PURPOSE

To be responsible for looking after groups of clients on package holidays at resorts/hotels. To ensure that clients enjoy their holiday and that everything runs as smoothly as possible for them. To create an excellent first impression and continue to provide outstanding customer service to clients throughout the duration of their stay as the public face of the tour operator.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Ensure guests
satisfaction / ·  Represent Buffalo Tours by welcoming clients at the hotels and escort them to their accommodation.
·  Sell excursions and other activities of Buffalo Tours product.
·  Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hotels and the local area in
order to answer clients' questions.
·  Accompany clients on excursions and acting as a consultant.
·  Organize and supervise children's activities and ensuring they are in a safe environment.
Minimize customer complaints and claims / ·  Help clients to solve any issues occurred during the trip.
·  Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies.
·  Deal with unforeseen 'non-client' problems, e.g. flight delays, coach strikes, weather conditions.
·  Handle client issues, such as: lost luggage or passports; allegations of theft or other crimes; problems with rooms; and health problems, injuries or even deaths.
Internal Process / ·  Assist in the support and training of new hotel representatives.
·  Check hotel standards and safety procedures.
·  Complete risk assessments and health and safety checks.
·  Keep basic accounts and records, and writing reports.
·  Make financial report and submit with Accounting team weekly / biweekly

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·  Thai national, male or female age not over 40 years old.

·  Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s preferred.

·  Minimum 1 year of Sales or Reservations experience in tourism industry

·  Experience in the travel, hospitality, service, or tourism industry.

·  Candidate must be able to handle heavy workload in late summer and fall, with more opportunity for vacation time in the off-season.

·  Ability to work multi-task and be able to work under high pressure.

·  Ability to use a Windows/Mac.

·  Highly organized and detail-oriented.

·  Self-starter, able to complete tasks with little or no oversight.

·  Sense of humor.
