To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in the position that you have open, and I believe that I am qualified to fill that position.
For the last four years I have attended RockyMountainCollege. While attending I earned a bachelors degree in exercise science. During this period of time I have taken a variety of classes that are based on the physiology and kinesiology of the human body. While taking these classes I have gained a wide array of knowledge about the different ways that the human body will adapt to stress, in the muscular system, the tendons and ligaments, and also endocrine system. I have gained an understanding of how the body moves. I have learned that different abnormalities a person may have, will affect the joints, movements of the muscular system, and posture. Because of the classes I have taken I am very knowledgeable in what a person may need to help extend their quality of life in daily activities.
During my schooling I was able to complete internships that gave me experience in this field. The first internship that I did was with the Sports Medicine department for the Billings Clinic. In this internship I helped with the conditioning of the American Legion baseball teams in Billings. I was able to help put on clinics for youth, which involved different types of resistance training and agility training. The second internship I did involved working with the RockyMountainCollege football team. During this internship I helped with developing, organizing, and executing an off-season conditioning program. I supervised lifting groups and instructed the athletes in the proper way to perform the different types of lifts.
Also I was the Defensive Line coach at RockyMountainCollege. During this time I learned a lot about what it takes to manage a group of people at one time. I learned how to keep a group of athletes in tune to the drills that were being performed during the period of practice. It also taught me a lot about time management and how to utilize the short amount of time I had with my position so that they could get the most out of the drills we were doing.
Thank you for considering me for this position. I am very interested in this position with you. I believe that the knowledge that I have about the body, how it works and how you can adapt your body to different stressors will be beneficial. I am excited for the opportunity of helping people get better at something they love to do. I am available for an interview at your convenience. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
DanielCompton
