Sir/Madam,

Kindly accept our greetings from Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University.

Like previous years, the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University is organizing the Late Professor Madhab Chandra Bora Memorial Inter-Institutional Quiz Competition on 16 November, 2015, Monday at 10 AM onwards.

The day is observed as Remembrance Day with the Quiz and a Memorial Oration in the fond memory of Prof. Borah, the founder Dean of School of Management Sciences. The Tezpur University in general and Department in particular owes a lot to him for his dedicated service in building the institution.

Vide this communication; I invite participation of your Institution in the day’s programme with request to send participants for the quiz. The details of the competition and the nomination form along with a poster for Notice Board are attached herewith.

Your personal presence on that day at 3 PM for the Memorial Oration and prize distribution ceremony is also highly solicited.

Inter Institutional Prize Money Quiz on 16th November, 2015 at 10AM

Rules for Participation

  1. The MCB Memorial Quiz is an inter-institutional event to be hosted at the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University, on the 16th November, 2015, Monday.
  2. For this year, theparticipants eligibility is HSLC (or equivalent) and above.
  3. Any number of teams (two members each) may take part, both members being bonafide students from the same Educational Institution.
  4. Each team has to submit nomination signed by the competent authority of respective institution. The participants have to carry Institutional Identity card or any other official proof.
  5. Each team would be required to register by sending an e-mail or by calling at the address and number given below. Spot registration is also available.
  6. Registration desk would close at 10.00AM on 16/11/2015; no participation would be permitted after that.
  7. Participation fees of INR 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) per team is to be paid at Registration desk on the day of Quiz on or before 10AM.

Rules for the contest

  1. Depending on the number of participating teams, there may be an elimination round.
  2. For the Final rounds, 6(six) teams would be taken on to the stage.
  3. Not more than 3(three) teams from the same Institution would be taken into the Mains, even if they score higher that other Institution teams. (However, this may be made flexible depending upon situation, as per decision of the QM and organizers.)
  4. During the Quiz, the decision of Quiz Master and/or Organizers shall be final and binding.

Best Team: INR 7500/- plus MCB Memorial Running Trophy

First Runner Up Team: INR 5500/-

Second Runner Up Team: INR 3500/-

All Finalists Teams: Memento plus certificate.
