AGREEMENT FOR USE OF CHILDREN’S HARBOR® FACILITIES

IN CONSIDERATION for the use of Children’s Harbor facilities, specifically: Facility rentedondate rentedfrom 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and again ondate rented from 8:00a.m. to 10:00 p.m.the undersigned hereby covenants and agrees as follows:

  1. To return possession of said facilities immediately upon expiration of the period specified above in as good condition as when taken. _____ (initial)
  1. To pay a total of$3000.00; which consists of: 1) A $2000.00 usage fee. 2) A $1000.00 security deposit. The security deposit minus a $55.00 cleaning fee will be refunded if, upon inspection by a Children’s Harbor employee, the premises are found to be in satisfactory condition as outlined. The refund will be mailed within two weeks provided all keys are returned. If a key is lost there will be a $25.00 charge per key. If there is an extra amount of cleaning needed or if there is damage, the $55.00security deposit will be forfeited and additional charges may be added.   1. To not use tacks, nails, tape, or other items on the interior or exterior of building(s) to not use candles (except drip less): to not move any furnishings; tonot to slide anything, including florist stands, across the floors; to remove all decorations and trash, caused by your use of facilities, from building(s) and grounds (trash must be placed in Children’s Harbor dumpsters – failure to do so will result in a $50 fee to be deducted from your security deposit); to not drive any vehicles on the grass; to return tables and chairs to storage, hymnals to pews, and literature to display case. If damage occurs as a result of non-adherence to the above, the party signing this agreement will be held liable for the expense of repair. ______(initial)

  1. To lock building(s) each time you leave, including at the end of the time period specified above. If Children’s Harbor furnishings or equipment are damaged or stolen as a result of negligence or the building(s) being unlocked, the party signing this agreement will be held liable for replacement. ______(initial)
  1. To notto serve or allow the use of alcoholic beverages at any reception, meeting, dinner, or other event on the Children’s Harbor campus. Due to the violation of this particular policy on a few occasions, Children’s Harbor may have a representative drop in on random occasions. If alcoholic beverages in any form or fashion are present, the facility will be closed immediately and guests asked to leave the premises. ______(initial)

To indemnify and hold harmless Children’s Harbor, Inc., its residents, servants, employees, agents, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, expenses of every kind, suits, actions, judgments and recoveries for or on account of damages to the property or injuries (including death) to persons caused by or arising from the use of said facilities. ______(initial)
