Request for Proposals (RFP)
Project Title: Learnership Phase 5
Introduction
The W&RSETA is embarking on a National roll out of learnerships to 5000 learners. Successful implementation of Phase 5 would rely on the following interventions; the W&RSETA is calling for individual(s) and/or organisations to provide technical assistance, in one or more of the following:
1) Development of Learning Material (Sub-Project A) for the four newly registered learnerships,
2) Delivery of training i.t.o. Education, Training and Development Practice Support (Sub-Project B) to stakeholders participating in Phase 5
3) Printing and Distribution (Sub-Project C)
Sub – Project A: DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MATERIAL
To develop (including design and layout) generic learning material aligned to unit standards for the newly registered learnerships as stated below:

· Programme strategy
· Curriculum
· Learner guide
· Facilitator guide
· Workplace guide (Logbook)
· Assessment guide
Sub – Project B: TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PRACTICE SUPPORT
Delivery of ETDPSETA accredited and approved training in one or more provinces in the following unit standards:
Programme / Unit Standard Title / NQF level / CreditsMentoring / Assist and support learners to manage their learning experiences / 4 / 5
Coaching / Perform one-to-one training on the job / 3 / 4
Inclusive should be:
o Assessment, moderation and registration of candidates
o Structured Candidate support for completion of Portfolio’s of evidence
Sub – Project C: PRINTING & DISTRIBUTION
Selected printers per province to be responsible for printing and distribution of all W&RSETA learning-and related material.
Briefing, Submission Queries and Closure:
All parties interested in participating are invited to attend compulsory briefing sessions where submission requirements will be discussed and the relevant Terms of Reference can be obtained.
