MJ Ranch TOTAL approximate Cost for ¼ , ½, or whole 100% Grass-Fed Angus Beef!

COST FOR 2016 is $4.50. for a Whole or ½ Beef; $4.70 for a Front quarter & $4.90 for a Hind quarter; this does not include the processing or slaughter fee.

Below I will be figuring cost on a ¼ beef at 125 lbs. (1/4 of 500 lbs.); a ½ beef at 250 lbs. (1/2 of 500 lbs.) and, of course, 500 lbs. for a whole beef, to give you an approximate cost for beef. This has all the costs figured for you, according to hanging weight. So, without tax, for a:

**1/4 Beef, Front Quarter: 125 lbs. X $4.70= $587.50 (MJ Ranch charge)

Processing: Steves: 125 lbs.X $.55/lb=$68.75 Baumans: 125 lbs.X $.61=$76.25

One time slaughter Fee: Steves @ $12.25 Baumans @ $16.25

Grand total: Steves: $587.50 + $68.75 + 12.25 = $668.50

Baumans: $$587.50 + $76.25 + $16.25 = $680.00

**1/4 Beef, Hind Quarter: 125 lbs. X $4.90 = $612.50 (MJ Ranch charge)

Processing: Steves: 125 lbs.X $.55=$68.75 Baumans: 125 lbs.X$.61=$76.25

One time slaughter Fee: Steves @ $12.25 Baumans @ $16.25

Grand Total: Steves: $612.50 + $68.75 + $12.25 =693.50

Baumans: $612.50 + $76.25 + $16.25 = 705.00

**1/2 Beef: 250 lbs. X $4.50 = $1125.00 (MJ Ranch charge)

Processing: Steves:250 lbs.X $.55/lb=$137.50 Baumans:250 lbs.X$.61=$152.50

One time slaughter Fee: Steves @ $24.50 Baumans@ $32.50

Grand total: Steves: $1125.00 + $137.50 + $24.50 = 1287.00

Baumans: $1125.00 + $152.50 + $32.50 =$1310.00

**Whole Beef: 500 lbs. X $4.50 = $2250.00 ((MJ Ranch charge)
