Peter Milley - Expert in organizational learning, management and leadership of the Canada School of Public Service - CSPS.

Of the 22 participants in the Workshop, 19 filled out the reaction evaluation questionnaire, resulting in the analysis described below.

The Workshop evaluation graph shows how the participants perceived the results of the Workshop (percentage of excellent and very good). Regarding the relevance of the topic for their work, 63.2% of the participants described it as excellent and 21.1% as very good; 63.2% described the contribution of the leaning Event to their professional development as excellent; and 26.3% described it as very good. As for the applicability of the contents discussed during the Workshop to their work, 36.8% described it as excellent and 47.4 as very good/good.

The clarity of expert Ian Creery in conveying the contents of the workshop was considered excellent by 63.2% of the participants and very good by 31.6% of them; his ability to generate integration amongst the students was considered excellent by 84.2% of the participants and very good by 10.5% of them; his mastery of the program contents was regarded as excellent by 84.2% of the participants and very good by 10.5% of them.

The clarity of expert Louise Varagnolo in conveying the contents of the workshop was considered excellent by 63.2% of the participants and very good by 26.3% of them; her ability to generate integration amongst the students was considered excellent by 73.7% of the participants and very good by 15.8% of them; her mastery of the program contents was regarded as excellent by 78.9% of the participants and very good by 15.8% of them.

The clarity of expert Peter Milley in conveying the contents of the workshop was considered excellent by 57.9% of the participants and very good by 31.6% of them; his ability to generate integration amongst the students was considered excellent by 73.7% of the participants and very good by 21.1% of them; his mastery of the program contents was regarded as excellent by 73.7% of the participants and very good by 21.1% of them.

The satisfaction of the participants can be estimated through graphs 1 and 2 according to the average score given to the event – ranging from 1 to 10 – and to the relation between the initial expectations of the participants in relation to the Workshop and its final performance evaluation. In this case, it can be seen that the average score for the Workshop performance – 9.05 – was higher than the expected one, which was 7.00.

This evaluation report will be made available to the participants through a linkdeveloped for the workshop on the ENAP website (Cooperação Internacional – Projeto Canadá). The answers of the participants to the open-ended questions provide important inputs to ENAP and contribute toward improving and innovating its products and services.
