Job Purpose
The role is to provide wide ranging administrative and project support to the Ecorys Survey team who deliver data collection projects/surveys such as face to face interviews, online/web based interviews, postal surveys and telephone interviews. Ecorys Survey provide data collection support in the delivery of research, evaluation and consultancy projects within the Policy and Research team which works across the UK, EU28, EU enlargement and overseas / international markets. The post will be based within our survey team in our Birmingham head office and will focus on supporting the delivery of a wide range of market research projects to a variety of internal and external clients.

- Assisting the survey manager and the survey team with all aspects of the day-day running of the survey centre
- Providing administrative support to all methods of data collection that are run through the survey centre
- Answering and supporting requests fromemail, phone helplines and general phone enquiries from members of the public, supervisors, field and telephone interviewers
- Preparing and administering checks on pay claims for our telephone and field teams before they are sent to payroll for processing
- Preparing work packs and tablets for mailing to field interviewers
- Preparing tablets and sample for field interviewers
- Preparing weekly progress updates on field projects
- Supporting field interviewers with queries about their tablets
- Checking electronic survey questionnaires
- Administering shift availability for our call centre teams and personnel files
- Supporting quality control administration and remote monitoring/quality controlacross projects to IQCS and ISOQAR standards and protocols
- Booking travel, meeting rooms / conference lines, and co-ordinating diaries for the team
- Ordering stationary and supplies as needed
- Other general administrative tasks as required to support the efficient running of the survey centre and the wider Policy and Research team and its projects
Qualifications & Experience
5 GCSEs/O’Levels (or equivalent) including Maths and English, grades A-C (essential) / EssentialExperience
Minimum 2+ years’experience of contract/project administration in private, public or academic sector / Essential
Experience of working in a consultancy or market research business / Desirable
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent organisational skills with a very high degree of accuracy and ability to prioritise in a demanding environment / Essential
Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive team approach to work and learning new skills / Essential
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise a range of project administration tasks independently, proactively and in conjunction with the survey manager/other members of the survey team / Essential

Organisation
Based in our Birminghamsurvey team within our Policy and Research Business Unit in Ecorys UK. The Policy and Research team are a team of around 40 staff across 3 UK offices, all of whom work with surveys as one of the major components for data collection for our range of public policy projects. The survey team supports research projects for staff across the team.
